A grid-connected photovoltaic power system or grid-connected PV system is an electricity generated solar PV system that is connected to the utility grid


A grid-connected PV system consist of but not limited to:

– Solar panels
– Inverter(s) depending on the number of panels
– DC & AC combiner and protection box
– Grid connection equipment

They range from small residential and commercial rooftop or ground mounted systems to large utility-scale solar power stations

OFF-GRID
SYSTEM

An electricity generating solar PV system that is connected to batteries for back up energy in case of power cut off or can be the main power of source in an off grid area


These systems allow you to store your solar power in batteries for use when the power grid goes down.  Additionally, they provide power to offset the grid power whenever the sun is shining and will even send excess power to the grid to bank if for later use.

A solar-powered pump is a pump running on electricity generated by photovoltaic panels as opposed to grid electricity or diesel generator water pumps


solar powered pump is more economical mainly due to the lower operation and maintenance costs and has less environmental impact than pumps powered by an internal combustion engine (ICE)
